The Divine Prayer Line For
Animals was started by Jacquelin in 1998. She was sitting home
on New Year's Eve and felt inspired to write about what a prayer
line could do for animals. She saw it as a way to help support
animals.
Today, the prayer line is going
strong. It is not based on any particular denomination, but on
God, Spirit, whatever you want to call that omnipotent lifeforce.
Members across the country support animals with prayer. Thanks
to the prayer line there are all kinds of miracles happening
in animals' lives.
Jacquelin puts out a simple
newsletter four times a year that's mailed to members, listing
the names of animals who need prayer. She also shares the miracles
that people share with her and others who are a part of the prayer
line.
A Columbus-based group gathers
together on the first Friday, every other month, to pray for
specific animals as well as for humane societies, veterinarians,
and for Mother Earth.
Many people talk about how
they feel their animal companions were saved literally through
the prayer line.
Membership is $12 a year. All
members are due to renew in January to keep things simple. Those
who join in August or later will receive one extra newsletter.
Donations are welcome at all times. All donations received are
used for the prayer line.

"I want to thank you for
the prayers for my rabbit, Emily. I had taken her to a top veterinary
hospital and they say she wouldn't make it. When I talked with
you, Jacquelin, you encouraged me that she'd be coming home.
I feel through the efforts of the prayer line, that God interceded
and saved her life. She came home that week. I'll never forget
the astonishment of the veterinarians when I picked her up. They
simply could not believe that she was alive and going home. I
will forever be grateful to the prayer line for animals." |
